Red Dog Contracting Services LLC is seeking an Estimator to support construction projects by preparing cost estimates, reviewing project requirements, and assisting with the planning and bidding process.
Duties:
- Review construction plans, specifications, and project requirements
- Prepare material, labor, equipment, and other project cost estimates
- Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost projections
- Request and review pricing from vendors and subcontractors
- Assist with preparation of project bids and proposals
- Identify potential cost considerations and project requirements
- Maintain estimating records and supporting documentation
- Coordinate with project management and field personnel as needed
- Assist with project planning and budgeting
Qualifications:
- Knowledge of construction estimating and project costs
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, subcontractors, and project staff
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with estimating and office software
