responsibilities:
FPGA & Digital Hardware Design: Lead FPGA design, system simulation, constraint-driven synthesis, place and route, resource and power utilization analysis, static timing analysis, and timing closure. Execute comprehensive verification, hardware integration, and test activities.
Electro-Optical & Digital Systems Engineering: Contribute to the architecture, design, fabrication, and testing of advanced hardware platforms integrating digital and optical subsystems. Define, analyze, and manage hardware requirements, functional interfaces, signal integrity, and power distribution across digital components and systems.
Technical Leadership & Project Delivery: Direct cross-functional engineering teams through complex technical workstreams, ensuring milestones are achieved on schedule, within scope, and on budget. Mentor and guide less-experienced engineers while delegating tasks effectively.
Product Development Lifecycle: Drive the full lifecycle development-design, analysis, modeling, documentation, prototyping, and test support-for products, systems, and subsystems. Build targeted prototypes to identify and retire critical technical risks early.
Design Optimization & Cost Controls: Leverage CAE and specialized design/analysis tools to evaluate customer specifications and deliver optimized technical solutions. Enforce design-to-cost (DTC) and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) requirements throughout execution.
Vendor & Supply Chain Collaboration: Formulate specifications for and evaluate third-party components, subsystems, and subcontracted technical services.
Stakeholder Communication & Proposal Support: Communicate technical concepts, project status, and analytical findings clearly to cross-functional teams and external clients. Participate in technical proposal development, schedule formulation, and cost estimation.
