responsibilities:
- Provide technical leadership for air-cooled chiller manufacturing operations, resolving complex issues across mechanical, electrical, controls, and testing systems.
- Develop, implement, and optimize assembly processes, work instructions, standard operating procedures, and plant layouts to boost quality and throughput.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to eliminate manufacturing constraints, enhance safety, reduce costs, and improve overall operational efficiency.
- Troubleshoot complex electrical assemblies, control panels, refrigeration systems, piping, and communication networks using diagnostic tools and schematics.
- Partner with cross-functional teams-including Product Engineering, Quality, and Operations-to optimize product manufacturability and support new product integrations.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics) or Engineering Technology.
5+ years of manufacturing engineering or automation experience supporting complex production operations.
Proven hands-on proficiency with mechanical tools (drills, calipers) and electrical diagnostics (multimeters, amp clamps), with preferred experience in Lean/Six Sigma, MES, and industrial communication protocols.
