responsibilities:
- Manage project cost controls, budgeting, forecasting, accruals, and earned value management (EVM) for large-scale capital projects.
- Oversee contract administration, invoice validation, payment certification, and change management workflows.
- Develop interactive financial dashboards, automated reporting solutions, and performance tracking models using Power BI, Oracle, and advanced Excel.
- Perform data analysis on complex financial and operational datasets to identify risks, track performance metrics, and support strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, contractors, and vendors while mentoring project team members on controls processes.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, Project Controls, or equivalent practical experience.
3 to 5+ years of project controls, cost management, field controls, or project accounting experience in oil & gas, pipeline, energy, or infrastructure sectors.
Technical expertise in advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query, XLOOKUP), Oracle Cloud/Projects, Power BI, and project controls methodologies.
