Technical Competencies:
- Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical power transmissions, hydraulic circuits, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical schematics, blueprints, and electrical wiring diagrams.
- Familiarity with pump systems (positive displacement, peristaltic, diaphragm, and gear pumps).
- Basic shop fabrication, drilling, tapping, and welding experience.

Responsibilities
- Machinery Troubleshooting & Repair
- Diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures on production equipment - including industrial mixers, compounding mills, agitators, metering pumps, and extrusion/dispensing machinery.
- Disassemble, overhaul, and rebuild mechanical components (gearboxes, drive belts, bearings, seals, shafts, and motor couplings).
- Troubleshoot automated filling, capping, and packaging lines to resolve mechanical jams, timing misalignments, or line stoppages.
- Preventative Maintenance (PM)
- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly PM schedules per equipment specifications (lubrication, filter replacements, fluid level checks, belt tensioning).
- Maintain thorough logs of maintenance activities, work orders, parts usage, and repairs within the maintenance management system.
- Basic Electrical & Controls Support
- Troubleshoot low-to-medium voltage electrical systems (120V to 480V 3-phase circuits).
- Inspect and replace faulty electrical parts such as sensors, switches, relays, heating elements, contactors, and emergency stops.
- Read and interpret wiring schematics and ladder logic diagrams to pinpoint electrical control issues.
