CNC Machinist

Job Title: CNC Machinist (4-Axis & 5-Axis Milling / Mill-Turn)

Shift: 1st & 2nd Shift Openings Available (Training on 1st Shift)

Compensation: $54,080 – $72,800 / year ($26.00 – $35.00 / hour equivalent)

We are seeking skilled CNC Machinists to set up and operate multi-axis CNC milling and mill-turn equipment. Openings support high-precision workcenters utilizing 4-axis and 5-axis machines equipped with Mazatrol and Fanuc control systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and operate 4-axis and 5-axis CNC mills and mill-turn centers to produce tight-tolerance components.
• Load raw materials, install cutting tools, establish tool offsets, and calibrate work coordinate systems.
• Interpret engineering blueprints, GD&T symbols, and detailed setup documentation.
• Navigate and edit program interfaces using Mazatrol and Fanuc controls.
• Perform first-piece and in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and indicators.
• Monitor machining operations, make offset adjustments, and replace worn tooling to maintain dimensional integrity.
• Conduct routine daily machine maintenance, fluid checks, and adhere to shop safety standards.

salary: $54,080 - $72,800 per year shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM education: High School

Responsibilities

Requirements & Qualifications

• 2+ years of CNC setup and operation experience with 4-axis or 5-axis milling equipment.
• Working familiarity with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol interfaces.
• Solid blueprint reading skills and understanding of standard GD&T standards.
• Flexibility to train on 1st shift if assigned to a 2nd shift schedule.
