salary: $24 - $28 per hour shift: First work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM education: High School
Responsibilities
- Collections Outreach: Conduct professional outreach via phone and email to follow up on outstanding receivables and secure payment commitments.
- AR Aging Management: Review and monitor daily/weekly aging schedules to identify delinquent accounts and resolve payment delays.
- Cash Application: Accurately record and apply incoming payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks, and credit cards) against open invoices.
- Dispute Resolution: Collaborate with sales, operations, and billing teams to investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies or short payments.
- Account Reconciliation: Perform regular customer account reconciliations and issue account statements or adjustments as needed.
- Audit & Reporting: Maintain detailed, timestamped records of collection efforts and assist with month-end AR reconciliations.
