We will be hiring for Accounts Receivable Specialists at our Healthcare client out of Nashville! These are Hybrid roles - requiring some onsite work. Must be local to Nashville. Start Date: anticipated late Nov/early Dec Pay Rate: $24-25/hr DOE Hours: M-F, 8AM-4:30PM Job Duties: 3–5 years of experience in healthcare payment posting (manual and electronic) Knowledge of EOBs, EFTs, ERAs, COB, and 835 file interpretation
Deep understanding of payer rules (Medicare, Medicaid, Commercial, Workers' Comp)
Familiarity with contractual adjustments, proration logic, and secondary/tertiary payment rules
Prior experience with complex denial resolutions and reconciliation of unapplied payments
Knowledge of accounting principles related to revenue cycle and payment reconciliation
Comfortable working in Interactant (HCS), WellSky, or other EMRs/payment posting systems
Proficiency with Excel and data reconciliation tools
Experience using clearinghouses, payer portals, and lockbox files
Ability to work with batch files, remittance advice matching, and custom posting rules
Familiar with automated vs. manual posting environments, and when to escalate

Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle medical billing and collections, generate accurate invoices, and apply incoming payments.
Monitor AR aging reports, identify non-payment trends, and prioritize overdue accounts.
Investigate payment discrepancies, chargebacks, short-pays, and mismatched contractual balances.
Navigate claim denials, EOBs, and disputes to secure timely reimbursement.
Deliver professional, tactful customer service to resolve patient and payer inquiries via phone, email, and chat.
