We are seeking reliable, composed, and quick-thinking Call Center Operators to join our client's team in Farmingdale, NY. This company's monitoring center handles constant, fast-paced incoming calls and alarm signals. As an operator, you will act as a frontline responder to fire, burglary, and panic alarms, answering 50+ calls daily from customers and installers with patience, professionalism, and speed.
This is an entry-level position open to candidates without prior industry experiencewe provide full, hands-on training to set you up for success!
We are seeking candidates to work the following shifts:

Responsibilities
Alarm Response: Promptly answer and process inbound fire, burglary, panic, and medical alarm signals with quick decision-making under high-stress conditions. Call Handling: Manage approximately 40 calls per shift from customers, alarm installers, and emergency personnel regarding questions, status updates, and reports. Sensitive Situation Management: Maintain composure, patience, and professional empathy when navigating high-stress calls, alarms, and sensitive customer personalities. Data & Reporting: Accurately document all activities, calls, and alarm events in computer software in a fast-paced environment (calls come every 30 seconds to 1 minute). Continuous Improvement: Participate in weekly team improvement meetings to refine skills and operational processes.
