ABOUT PROTORA
Protora (formerly C Speed) builds radar and surveillance systems that give military and government customers eyes on their airspace, borders, and critical sites. Our name draws from the Praetorian Guard, elite soldiers whose job was to watch and protect. That history shapes our mission today: we take first watch, so the people we protect don't have to. We are a growing company with a new brand and a clear direction.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Maintain thorough understanding of digital design as it relates to radar signal generators, MTI, IF receivers, clutter refection, mixers, multipliers, low noise amplifiers, and digital displays.
- Exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, tracing relationships in signal flow, and regularly using complex test instruments (e.g., dual trace oscilloscopes, Qmeters, deviation meters, pulse generators).
- Direct and perform corrective and preventive maintenance on the aerostat telemetry and control subsystems, power and control subsystems, tether subsystem, meteorological equipment, ground station electronic subsystems, payload and communications subsystems, and site facility electronics as appropriate.
- Direct and perform all aerostat electronic subsystem preflight and postflight checks and inspections as required.
- Coordinate resupply and repair logistics activities for the aerostat electronics subsystems.
- Perform and direct activities to fulfill Civil Engineering site tasks related to electrical services and equipment.
- Train and certify other personnel in selected aerostat electronic subsystem procedures.
- Quality Control duties as assigned and required.
- Operate and work in man-lift vehicles.
- Function as a key member of the flight crew for inflation, deflation, launch, recovery, maintenance, and in-flight activities.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
- Prior aerostat experience preferred
- 5 years’ progressively responsible electronic maintenance and repair experience
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks shown in Job Description
- High school graduate
