Sewing Machine Operator/ Seamstress:
Promo Costumes is looking to add someone to our sewing team. We are a custom costume and mascot manufacturer located in downtown Marion, Ohio that has been producing quality mascots for over 28 years. We service a Nationwide customer base and even do some International work, our client list includes large corporations, universities, schools, libraries, amusement parks and several other organizations in the attractions industry.
Several of our designs have even appeared on television and in commercials.
Industrial Sewing experience is ideal but even some home sewing experience will be considered as we are willing to train the right person.
Full and Part Time

Responsibilities:
Sewing fur and fabric character costumes along with custom duffel, carrying and shoe bags Straight stitching, appliqué and serger operation Identifying fabrics, thread and cutting fabrics and other materials Ability to work in a team environment and follow daily production assignments Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment.
Craft work, design, assembly and cleaning:

Assembling, gluing and sewing production pieces that have been developed Repair and clean existing mascot costumes Cutting fabric, foam and other materials from existing patterns Ability to work in a team environments and follow daily production assignments.
