Sewing Machine Operator/ Seamstress

Promo Costumes is looking to add someone to our sewing team! We are a custom costume and mascot manufacturer located in downtown Marion, Ohio that has been producing quality mascots for over 28 years. We service a Nationwide customer base and even do some International work, our client list includes large corporations, universities, schools, libraries, amusement parks and several other organizations in the attractions industry. Industrial Sewing experience is ideal but even some home sewing experience will be considered as we are willing to train the right person. Full and Part Time Flexible Hours Monday -Friday 8am to 5pm A fun and casual work environment Competitive wages Paid Holidays and PTO for full time employees Responsibilities: Sewing fur and fabric character costumes along with custom duffel, carrying and shoe bags Straight stitching, appliqué and serger operation Identifying fabrics, thread and cutting fabrics and other materials Ability to work in a team environment and follow daily production assignments Perform basic maintenance and upkeep of sewing equipment
