Tool Inside Sales Consultant Location: Charlotte, NC 28273 (In-Office, No Remote) Status: Full-Time, Salaried (No Commission) Pay Rate: $50,000 – $70,000 / year Schedule: Monday – Friday (40-hour work week) The Role Our client in Charlotte, NC is seeking an in-house Technical Sales Consultant to provide product guidance and order support for industrial equipment. This is a salaried, non-commission role with zero cold-calling and no travel required. The ideal candidate combines mechanical aptitude and strong communication skills to advise customers while assisting with light warehouse order fulfillment. What You Will Do
- Advise incoming customers over the phone on equipment selection based on their specific technical needs.
- Explain technical differences, capabilities, and specifications across various industrial product lines.
- Process customer orders and ensure all product pricing and catalog information remain updated.
- Analyze sales performance metrics and collaborate with the marketing team on growth initiatives.
- Package, palletize, and ship outbound customer orders carefully and accurately.
- Unload freight containers, restock inventory, and maintain organized warehouse space.
What You Will Bring
- Strong mechanical inclination with the ability to easily understand and explain tools and industrial machinery.
- 1 year of Customer Service or prior sales experience
- Professional verbal communication skills with a strong focus on active listening and customer service.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities paired with exceptional organizational skills.
- Capability to handle physical warehouse duties, including repetitive lifting over 40 lbs.
