Job Overview We are seeking a Production Planner to coordinate production planning and scheduling in a manufacturing environment, located on-site in Monee, IL. You will use production management systems and supply chain information to align materials, capacity, and priorities with operational needs. Your impact: Accurate, responsive schedules help production teams meet demand while supporting reliable delivery for customers. This is a CONTRACT/TEMP position to last about 6 months *There is the possibility of going permanent or extending the contract 1st shift Mon-Fri 6:00am-2:30pm $20-23 per hour DOE
Responsibilities:
- Process and close work orders accurately and on time within company systems
- Review purchase orders, provide updates, and review discrepancies with the production planning team
- Provide updates on open P.O.s for outside services
- Work with the planning team on assigned tasks
- Scan all completed work orders into the company system
Experience:
- Experience in production planning, production scheduling, production management, or manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with SAP, MRP, ERP systems, and production management systems; experience with Excel data analysis is preferred
- Understanding of manufacturing, assembly, quality control, supply chain management, and operations management
- Strong cross-functional communication and team leadership skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Knowledge of lean principles, Six Sigma, and supply chain analytics is preferred
- MUST have knowledge of Outlook, Teams, and basic Excel
