Mold Setup Technician - 3rd Shift Polymer Molding, Inc. - Erie, PA Shift: Sunday-Thursday, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM Job Description Polymer Molding, Inc. is seeking a dependable and mechanically inclined Mold Setup Technician for our 3rd shift. This position is responsible for performing mold setups, assisting with production operations, and ensuring equipment operates efficiently to maintain quality production. Responsibilities: 1. Perform mold setups, startups, and shutdowns. 2. Set up auxiliary and secondary equipment as needed. 3. Troubleshoot molding equipment and production issues. 4. Perform basic equipment maintenance and repairs. 5. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met. 6. Assist shift supervisors and production employees as needed. 7. Follow all company safety procedures and quality requirements. Qualifications: 1. High school diploma or GED required. 2. Two or more years of molding production experience preferred. 3. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. 4. Knowledge of injection molding processes. 5. Familiarity with hydraulics, pneumatics, and mold construction. 6. Ability to work independently and solve problems. 7. Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.
