In short In the dynamic landscape of On, our technology thrives much like a spirited runner: always moving, always improving. We are building technology that continues to supercharge the growth of On, helping to ignite the human spirit through movement. As an integral part of On’s Americas Technology team, you will serve as a functional domain leader for On’s Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ecosystem. Operating at a Lead level, you will move beyond isolated configuration to champion strategic solutioning, steering multi-workstream roadmaps, reducing complex system architectures into elegant solutions, and mentoring a passionate team of specialists. A vital mandate of this role is serving as the functional authority for our high-stakes fiscal and statutory localization landscape across Latin America - most notably in Mexico and Brazil. In these hyper-growth markets, operational logistics and statutory finance are inseparable: physical inventory cannot move across borders or out of warehouses without immediate, real-time tax validation, electronic invoicing, and customs compliance. In this role, your leadership will be pivotal in building synergies between supply chain and finance, leading business process improvements, and transitioning complex customizations historically delivered by external vendors into robust, sustainable in-house capabilities. Your mission
- Direct Regional & LATAM Fiscal Architecture: Lead the functional solution design for complex statutory compliance across the Americas. Own end-to-end configuration standards for Mexico and Brazil.
- Harmonize Operations with Fiscal Compliance: Partner across Finance, Tax, Logistics, Commercial, and Global Technology teams to ensure statutory requirements act as enablers rather than operational bottlenecks. Align warehouse dispatch, replenishment, transfer orders, and 3PL flows with real-time tax stamping engines.
- Drive In-Housing & Strategic Vendor Rationalization: Lead the architectural transition away from historical external contractor dependencies into self-sufficient internal capabilities.
- Lead Solution Design & Complex Deliverables: Work closely with the Solution Architect and engineering teams to create high-level functional designs, translate business needs into comprehensive Solution Design Documents and Functional Specifications.
- Facilitate Multi-Team Alignment & Decision-Making: Lead the functional decision-making process across teams by facilitating discovery workshops, presenting data-driven trade-offs, and securing stakeholder buy-in. Navigate competing priorities between local market operators, regional finance controllers, and global tech leadership.
- Elevate Operational Excellence & Observability: Improve system-wide operational stability and observability across D365. Establish root-cause investigation standards for recurring batch job failures, electronic reporting sync delays, and DMF data pipeline latency, preventing live business disruptions.
- Champion Quality & Release Governance: Drive testing rigor across the cluster by defining multi-tier test strategies (unit, integration, regression, and UAT). Oversee milestone release planning, deprecate legacy features reliably, and establish regression guardrails around mandatory tax reform updates and monthly financial close cycles.
- Mentorship & Community Leadership: Mentor and coach functional consultants and specialists, actively connecting them to growth opportunities. Promote On’s technology principles, foster a culture of candid feedback, and raise the bar within regional tech.
Your story
- Proven Expertise: 8+ years of deep functional and strategic experience executing and leading Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations implementations.
- Hands-on LATAM Compliance Experience: Practical familiarity with statutory and tax localization for the Americas region, including Mexico and Brazil.
- Cross-Stream Perspective: A solid understanding of how financial rules connect with operational and supply chain processes like warehousing, inventory movement, order processing, and retail replenishment.
- Pragmatic Problem Solver: Broad technical and functional knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (out-of-the-box functionality and limits).
- Clear Communicator: Skilled at facilitating workshops, gathering requirements, and explaining technical D365 concepts clearly to finance and operations partners.
- Collaborative & Mentoring Mindset: Enjoys sharing knowledge, helping teammates grow, and contributing to an inclusive, agile team environment.
