Job Description
The Senior Engineering Auditor will lead engineering audit activities involving contractor payments, change orders, cost reviews, and construction contract compliance. This position requires extensive experience in construction management, engineering audits, and infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead audits of construction and engineering contracts.
- Review contractor invoices, payment requests, and change orders.
- Analyze project costs, schedules, and supporting documentation.
- Conduct field inspections and site visits.
- Validate scope modifications and cost impacts.
- Develop audit reports and recommendations.
- Provide technical guidance to audit teams.
Required Qualifications
One of the following:
- New York State Professional Engineer (PE) License
OR
- 5 years of construction management/design experience and 5 years of engineering audit experience
OR
- 10 years of construction management or engineering design experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Heavy construction experience.
- Cost estimating expertise.
- Infrastructure project background.
- Government or public-sector auditing experience.
