Akkodis is seeking an Enterprise Technology Architect for a Contract job with a client in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA Finance, Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, and Finance Operations, along with a strong background in finance transformation, enterprise solution delivery, and stakeholder engagement. Rate Range: $88/hour to $90/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Enterprise Technology Architect Job Responsibilities Include:
- Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational challenges, reporting requirements, and opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of Record-to-Report (R2R) enhancements and stabilization initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing support, deployment activities, and post-production support.
- Support and optimize core finance operations including financial close processes, journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, and management reporting activities.
- Collaborate with business, AMS, reporting, integration, and project teams to ensure successful delivery of SAP Finance solutions and enhancements.
- Support integration activities between SAP S/4HANA Finance, SAC (SAP Analytics Cloud), Datasphere, and upstream/downstream enterprise applications.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, improve reporting accuracy and timeliness, enhance operational efficiencies, and strengthen finance governance.
- Assist with defect resolution, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, effort estimation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provide architectural guidance and best practices for SAP Finance processes while ensuring alignment with business goals and enterprise standards.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Strong hands-on experience supporting SAP S/4HANA Finance and Record-to-Report (R2R) business processes in enterprise environments.
- Deep understanding of financial close processes, journal entries, allocations, reconciliations, financial reporting, and accounting operations.
- Experience supporting SAP Finance transformation, stabilization, optimization, or implementation initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of finance operations, business process analysis, and enterprise application integration strategies.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP Datasphere, and enterprise reporting solutions.
- Knowledge of intercompany accounting processes, AR aging analysis, financial reconciliations, and financial controls.
- Experience working with financial reporting, management reporting, and data integration initiatives.
- Familiarity with SAP ecosystem integrations including procurement, supply chain, asset management, treasury, and controlling functions.
- Experience supporting Agile, hybrid, or enterprise project delivery methodologies.
- Strong understanding of finance transformation programs, shared services environments, and operational excellence initiatives.

Pay Details: $88.00 to $90.00 per hour
