Meet the Team The Market Data team oversees firm-wide market data operations and management within Operations & Middle Office. The team partners closely with Technology, Trading, Operations, Compliance, Procurement, Finance, business stakeholders, and external vendors to support access management, audits, renewals, reporting, and continuous cost-optimization initiatives.
What You’ll Do
- Process, provision, modify, transfer, and remove user access to real-time market data services across internal applications and external vendor platforms, in line with established service levels
- Administer Bloomberg Terminal entitlements and related user-access activities, including onboarding, offboarding, account and profile maintenance, permission changes, and issue resolution
- Coordinate access for market data vendors, exchanges, research platforms, pricing services, analytics tools, and data feeds, including platforms such as LSEG/Refinitiv, FactSet, ICE, S&P Global, Morningstar, CME, Nasdaq, and NYSE
- Apply approved entitlement policies, business justifications, licensing terms, and access-control standards consistently, verifying required manager, business, application-owner, and data-licensing approvals before granting or changing access
- Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable records of entitlements, approvals, exchange agreements, user populations, licensing documentation, costs, and vendor account details
- Triage and resolve entitlement incidents, access failures, permission issues, data discrepancies, and vendor service requests, providing clear and timely updates to users and stakeholders
- Perform periodic entitlement reviews and reconciliations to identify inactive users, duplicate services, inappropriate access, unused licenses, and potential non-compliance, and escalate licensing, unauthorized-use, data-sharing, redistribution, derived-data, or access-control concerns to Market Data Management, Compliance, Legal, or other stakeholders
- Support vendor onboarding and offboarding, renewals, usage reporting, invoice validation, cost allocation, and audits, while building reporting and dashboards, improving entitlement workflows through standardization, documentation, and automation, and maintaining process documentation and control evidence
What You Bring
- 3–7 years of experience in financial services, preferably in market data, operations, vendor management, access administration, trading support, entitlements, or a related control function
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Information Systems, Economics, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience will be considered
- Familiarity with real-time versus delayed market data, financial market data products, vendors, exchanges, licensing terms, data-use controls, and entitlement-management processes
- Experience with Bloomberg Terminal administration or entitlement management; familiarity with Bloomberg user and account workflows is strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a proven ability to manage high-volume, time-sensitive operational work accurately and within defined controls
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to reconcile data, investigate discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement durable solutions
- Proficiency with Excel and operational tracking and reporting tools, and comfort working with ticketing systems, structured workflows, and documented approval processes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and sound judgment and discretion with sensitive information, with a client-service mindset and a strong sense of ownership and control
