Manufacturing Technician Location: Hayward, CA Pay Rate: 22.00 per hour Shift: Monday through Friday, 4:00 AM to 12:30 PM
Overview
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to support production operations in a regulated manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for operating production equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting quality standards, and ensuring compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices.
Responsibilities
- Support daily manufacturing operations while following established procedures and quality standards.
- Set up, operate, and monitor production equipment to ensure efficient manufacturing processes.
- Complete production records and documentation in accordance with GDP and GMP requirements.
- Clean equipment, tools, and production areas to maintain a safe and controlled environment.
- Receive, organize, and distribute materials and supplies required for production.
- Assist with product packaging and shipment preparation as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
- Work collaboratively with technicians, supervisors, and production team members.
Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, assembly, or related experience preferred.
- Understanding of cGMP regulations is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic math skills and ability to work with standard and metric measurements.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow detailed written instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Comfortable working in a clean room or controlled manufacturing environment while wearing required protective garments.
