Our client is seeking a Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance team supporting the distribution center operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions and work safely under pressure, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Maintenance Tech Location: Jacksonville, FL Westside 32219 Pay Range: $20 - 25 Shift: Monday – Friday 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. What's the Job?
- Perform basic technical maintenance and repairs on distribution center mechanical equipment.
- Work closely with Maintenance Tech II to build proficiency in repair and troubleshooting techniques.
- Clear jams and motor problems on conveyor systems to keep material flow moving.
- Calibrate basic mechanical equipment to support accurate, reliable operation.
- Record all work completed in a departmental log and participate in special projects as required. What's Needed?
- Two years of experience in technical maintenance, contracting, or the equivalent required.
- Ability to read and interpret manuals for repair and maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Proficiency operating powered tools, equipment, and machinery.
- Ability to pass machine driver safety training for all required equipment.
- Strong reading, writing, math, and computer skills with good written/verbal communication. What's in it for me?
