Our client, Manufacturing is seeking a CNC Operator to join their team. As a CNC Operator, you will be part of the Production team supporting daily machining operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on precision, a commitment to safety, and the drive to continuously improve processes - skills that will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: CNC Operator Location: Pell City, AL Pay Range: $29.00 per hour Shift: Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM What's the Job?
- Program, set up, and operate CNC lathes and mills using M and G code (Fanuc controls experience preferred).
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and engineered schematics to produce precise components.
- Make program adjustments and optimize setups to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep CNC machines running at peak performance.
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, tape measures) to verify part quality and consistency. What's Needed?
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC setup and programming.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize machining processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineered documentation.
- Experience maintaining a clean, organized, and safe workspace in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods. What's in it for me?
