A growing, industry-leading organization is seeking an experienced FP&A Manager to lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and business analysis efforts. This role will serve as a strategic business partner to operational and executive leadership, providing financial insights that drive decision-making, improve profitability, and support long-term growth. The ideal candidate will bring a strong blend of financial expertise, analytical capabilities, and business acumen, with prior experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, and long-range financial planning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic planning, capacity analysis, pricing decisions, and investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations to improve business results.
- Partner closely with operations, supply chain, sales, and senior leadership teams to support decision-making and drive accountability.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), operational metrics, and profitability across business units.
- Prepare monthly management reporting packages, variance analyses, and executive-level presentations.
- Support inventory, cost accounting, and working capital initiatives through financial analysis and business partnership.
- Evaluate business risks and opportunities through scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement within FP&A processes, reporting tools, and forecasting methodologies.
- Assist with strategic initiatives, capital expenditure planning, and potential acquisitions or expansion projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 7+ years of progressive FP&A, corporate finance, or financial analysis experience.
- Previous leadership experience managing, mentoring, or developing finance professionals preferred.
- Manufacturing and/or distribution industry experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting experience.
- Strong understanding of operational drivers and how they impact financial performance.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required.
- Experience with ERP systems and business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or similar platforms.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications
- MBA, CMA, or CPA designation preferred
- Experience supporting multi-site operations.
- Exposure to inventory management, supply chain finance, and cost optimization initiatives.
- Experience leading process improvement or financial transformation projects.

Pay Details: $130,000.00 to $170,000.00 per year
