Kforce has a client in Reston, VA that is seeking a Senior Supply Chain Analyst.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily supply chain, logistics, and transportation operations, including coordination with carriers, vendors, and other partners
- Identify, investigate, and resolve operational issues affecting transportation and supply chain activities
- Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain Excel-based reports, dashboards, and analytical tools to monitor operational performance
- Create multi-functional reporting for internal stakeholders, suppliers, and vendors
- Translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations for business and operational teams
- Participate in data analytics, process improvement, and supply chain optimization projects
- Develop, document, and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) and workflows
- Partner cross-functionally with various departments to improve supply chain processes and service levels
- Assist with the adoption and use of AI, business intelligence, and analytical tools to improve reporting and operational efficiency
- 3-4+ years of relevant professional experience, ideally in an analyst, operations, supply chain, or similar role
- Strong Excel skills, including analyzing large datasets and building multi-functional reports
- Data analytics and reporting experience, with the ability to turn day-to-day operational data into dashboards, trends, and actionable insights
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a lean team environment
- Strong communication skills for working with internal teams, suppliers, vendors, carriers, and transportation partners
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
