Kforce has a client that is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist for an immediate, 100% remote consulting opportunity. This is an initial 3-month assignment working approximately 16-24 hours per week, with the potential to extend.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will manage day-to-day AP activities including:
- Monitoring the AP inbox and responding to vendor inquiries
- Vendor onboarding and W-9 collection
- Entering, coding, and routing invoices for approval
- Processing approved bills for payment
- Processing corporate credit card transactions and employee expense reports
- Reconciling corporate card statements to the general ledger
- Working within established AP approval processes and controls
The schedule is flexible, approximately 2-3 days per week, with work performed during normal business hours. This position is fully remote with no onsite requirement.
- Hands-on Sage Intacct experience required
- Hands-on BILL/Bill.com experience required
- Hands-on Expensify experience required
- Previous accounts payable processing experience
- Experience with invoice and GL coding, vendor onboarding, payments, expense reports, and reconciliations
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Accounting degree preferred, but not required
- Immediate availability strongly preferred
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
