POSITION DUTIES: Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines to extract, transform, and load risk-related data from third-party vendors and internal systems into enterprise data lakes and relational databases. Build data workflows using AWS Glue (PySpark) and AWS Lambda to orchestrate ingestion, transformation, and delivery of structured and semi-structured data. Write transformation logic in Python, PySpark, and SQL to cleanse, enrich, standardize, and reshape data according to business rules. Create dynamic ingestion frameworks to handle schema evolution and data anomalies across multiple source formats including JSON and Parquet. Implement data quality validation checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and consistency of data prior to delivery. Optimize ETL jobs and SQL queries for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Configure monitoring, alerting, and error handling using AWS CloudWatch to ensure pipeline reliability. Collaborate with product owners, risk analysts, and data architects to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications and data models. Document data flows, data dictionaries, and technical designs. Role may telecommute from unanticipated locations in the United States.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Data Science, or Related Field and 12 months of experience as Business Intelligence Analyst or related Data Science/Architecture Occupation.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Requires experience building and maintaining end-to-end ETL pipelines. Requires experience performing data analysis utilizing SQL and Python. Experience implementing data quality checks and monitoring frameworks to ensure data accuracy. Experience in data modeling and database design.
