Senior Business Analyst Role Overview
ISG senior resources play a critical role in helping public sector clients plan, design, and deliver complex business and technology solutions. Rather than being confined to a single set of responsibilities, our BAs flex across project needs - partnering with business stakeholders, technical teams, and other analysts to ensure clarity, alignment, and delivery across large and often highly visible initiatives.
This role is well-suited for an experienced, technically fluent Business Analyst who is comfortable operating in complex program environments. You will work closely with architects, developers, testers, and fellow analysts to understand application changes, dependencies, and impacts across multiple systems. Success in this role requires initiative, strong analytical judgment, and the ability to move work forward independently - seeking out answers, validating assumptions, and clearly communicating “how it works,” not just “how it might work.”
ISG senior resources are experts at navigating ambiguity, skilled at managing competing priorities, and thrive working within large, multi-workstream programs - all while maintaining a strong commitment to quality, collaboration, and client service.
Location
Flexibility is integral to ISG’s business design. As a fully remote organization, our teams work from the location of their choice. We expect team members to be available during our clients’ core business hours of 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time. On-site work is rare, but may be occasionally requested to meet specific client needs.
Compensation
The range ISG expects to pay for this position is between $130,000 - $170,000 per year. Compensation will depend on a variety of factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s relevant skills and experience, location, labor market conditions, and participation, if any, in other compensation arrangements.
ISG is an Equal Opportunity Employer
ISG is an equal opportunity employer and is committed to diversity in the workplace. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
