Job Description
We’re looking for a versatile AI Engineer/Technical Artist to help build the future of AI-assisted game creation for VR. This role sits at the intersection of software engineering, AI agent systems, game development, and rapid prototyping.
You’ll build and improve AI-driven creation systems that turn natural-language prompts into playable experiences, develop prompts and agent workflows, create custom AI harnesses, and run testing to evaluate model performance and efficiency. The ideal candidate has strong software engineering fundamentals but approaches problems with the speed, flexibility, and creative mindset of a Technical Artist.
Responsibilities
- Design and build AI-agent game creation systems, including multi-agent orchestration, prompt development, skill/subagent design, and LLM integrations.
- Develop and maintain AI testing harnesses to evaluate model behavior, performance, reliability, and efficiency.
- Run experiments and testing against AI models, analyze results, and identify opportunities to improve prompts, agents, and overall system performance.
- Build developer tooling and automation that supports AI-assisted game creation and accelerates iteration.
- Prototype quickly, create playable demos, validate new concepts, and turn successful prototypes into reliable production systems.
- Work across AI systems, game-engine code, tooling, and creator-facing experiences to solve problems end to end.
- Balance strong software engineering practices with a rapid, practical prototyping mindset.
