Required Skills & Experience
2–3+ years of QA/software testing experience within a large corporate or enterprise IT environment. Hands-on testing experience with UKG Pro WFM and/or Kronos Workforce Central (WFC). Experience testing workforce management functionality such as timecards, pay rules, overtime, accruals/PTO, and/or scheduling. Test automation experience using TestAssure and/or Playwright. Experience creating and executing manual and automated test cases/scripts. Experience with functional testing, regression testing, SIT, and UAT. Experience performing data validation, reconciliation, and/or parallel testing between systems. Experience validating system integrations and data flows, ideally involving workforce management, HR, and/or payroll systems. Hands-on experience with defect identification, documentation, tracking, retesting, and resolution. Ability to translate business and system requirements into comprehensive test scenarios, including edge cases. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skills.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Experience with both TestAssure and Playwright. Experience supporting a UKG/Kronos implementation, migration, or upgrade. Experience testing complex payroll/timekeeping business rules. Experience with Oracle/database testing or SQL. Experience working within a large enterprise environment with multiple integrated HR/payroll systems. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a QA Analyst to support a large-scale workforce management initiative. This individual will be responsible for testing UKG Pro Workforce Management (WFM) and/or Kronos Workforce Central (WFC) functionality, with a focus on timekeeping, pay rules, accruals, scheduling, system integrations, and data accuracy.
This role will be a mix of functional/manual testing and test automation. The ideal candidate will have hands-on workforce management testing experience and automation experience with TestAssure and/or Playwright. This person will work closely with developers, business users, and project stakeholders throughout SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, and go-live readiness.
Day to Day:
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for UKG/Kronos workforce management functionality. Perform manual and automated testing using TestAssure and/or Playwright. Test timecards, pay rules, overtime, accruals/PTO, and employee scheduling. Conduct SIT, UAT, regression, integration, and parallel testing/data validation. Identify, document, track, and retest defects, partnering with developers and business teams through resolution. Validate data across UKG/Kronos, payroll, HR, and integrated systems and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues.
