Role Overview
The Process & Measurement Architect / Performance Data Analyst will support the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) portfolio within the Operational Excellence team. This role will help design and strengthen the processes, performance measures, analytics, and problem-solving practices that enable the installation of an EPM framework across the organization.
The successful candidate will connect business processes with meaningful measures and actionable insights. They will work across functions to clarify how work gets done, define how success is measured, analyze performance, and help leaders turn findings into improvement actions, all while aligning with enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze performance data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and opportunities across properties, markets, investments, and business functions.
- Connect operational and financial measures for example, linking occupancy, leasing, development costs, operating expenses, energy use, and customer activity to revenue, margin, returns, or cash flow.
- Develop decision tools and dashboards that help leaders monitor performance, compare scenarios, prioritize resources, and act on emerging issues.
- Identify process and data gaps that limit reliable measurement, then work with business and technology teams to address them.
- Establish accountability for results by clarifying who owns each measure, what actions follow when performance changes, and how progress is reviewed.
- Support business planning and forecasting by connecting goals, assumptions, capacity, budgets, and expected outcomes.
- Support the development and deployment of the Enterprise Performance Management platform and processes.
- Map and maintain process architecture, including process flows, roles, handoffs, decision points, and governance. Support integrated business planning by connecting objectives, plans, performance measures, and review routines.
- Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to define, refine, and document key performance indicators (KPIs), including definitions, ownership, targets, and data sources.
- Establish consistent measurement and performance review practices across portfolios and functions. Work with data, technology, and business partners to assess data quality, clarify reporting needs, and support reliable performance insights.
- Prepare concise materials and recommendations for leadership discussions, portfolio reviews, and decision-making.
- Track improvement actions and help assess whether changes are producing the intended results. Contribute to change adoption by communicating processes, measures, insights, and expectations to stakeholders.
