Merchandising Coordinator

Job Description

Insight Global is seeking a Merchandising Coordinator / Merchant for a top footwear and consumer retail client. This role will provide hands-on support across merchandising operations, with a strong focus on data integrity, reporting, pricing updates, order entry, and website scrubbing. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and comfortable working in Excel, O9, and other merchandising systems while supporting assortment plans, business recaps, and day-to-day execution in a fast-paced retail environment.

This position is onsite 4x a week in Boston with Fridays work from home.

Pay for this role is between 35 and 42 / HR

Day-to-Day:

Serve as a highly organized merchandising support resource across a 7-person team Maintain accurate product, pricing, order, and assortment data across systems Complete recurring data entry and system updates using O9, Excel, and other merchandising tools Compile and analyze weekly, monthly, and seasonal business reports and recaps Execute and validate retail and digital price changes Conduct regular website scrubs to identify inaccurate pricing, product information, or merchandising issues Manage PO entry and updates, merchandising calendars, and product information Support product setup and troubleshoot missing or inaccurate product/pricing data Monitor business KPIs, trends, out-of-stocks, promotional activity, and product performance Support assortment plans, lifecycle activities, and store distribution Assist with Category Reviews, DTC Trading, Demand Review, GTM Planning, and other recurring merchandising meetings Partner cross-functionally with merchandising, planning, allocation, retail, and digital teams Create business recaps, GTM decks, and other recurring reporting for the merchandising team

Skills and Requirements

3–5 years of merchandising experience within fashion retail, including apparel, footwear, accessories, or similar consumer products Strong Excel, O9, and data reporting/analysis skills, with experience tracking KPIs and creating business recaps Exceptional organization, attention to detail, and data integrity across high-volume product information Experience working in merchandising systems and managing product data, price changes, and order/PO updates Experience with site scrubbing and identifying/correcting product, pricing, or data discrepancies Understanding of assortment plans, merchandising calendars, and core retail KPIs Ability to manage multiple recurring deliverables and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced retail environment DTC or e-commerce merchandising experience Footwear or Kids merchandising experience Centric and/or Aptos experience PO entry and order management experience Allocation and store distribution exposure Demand Review, GTM Planning, or MAP meeting experience Retail pricing experience across the US, Canada, and/or Puerto Rico Catalog or sample management experience
