Required Skills & Experience
5+ Years of experience developing applications using Power Apps and other Microsoft Power Platform technologies. Strong Power BI development experience, including dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX, and report optimization. Experience migrating or modernizing legacy reporting platforms such as SSRS. Strong SQL and database development skills. Experience building and maintaining backend data feeds, integrations, and ETL processes. Ability to work directly with business stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate needs into technical solutions. Strong communication and business analysis skills. Experience supporting accounting, finance, or production accounting environments preferred. Understanding of low-code/no-code development methodologies.

Experience with production accounting systems or financial applications. Knowledge of database migration and data consolidation initiatives. Job Description
We are seeking a Power Apps / Power BI Developer to support the modernization and optimization of a production accounting environment. This individual will partner closely with accounting and business stakeholders to replace manual processes, streamline reporting workflows, and deliver scalable data solutions using Microsoft's Power Platform. The ideal candidate combines strong technical development skills with a business analyst mindset and can confidently interact with end users to gather requirements and translate them into effective solutions.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps solutions that automate and improve accounting and financial workflows. Build and enhance Power BI dashboards, reports, and data visualizations for business and accounting stakeholders. Migrate legacy SSRS reports to Power BI while improving usability, performance, and reporting capabilities. Develop automated reporting processes that reduce manual effort and increase data accuracy. Configure and maintain backend data integrations, data feeds, and database connections. Support data migration, consolidation, and transformation initiatives across multiple systems. Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data models to support reporting and application development. Collaborate directly with finance, accounting, and operational teams to gather requirements and recommend solutions. Participate in the design and implementation of low-code/no-code applications using the Microsoft Power Platform. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to reporting, data quality, integrations, and application functionality.
