Job Description
A managed IT services organization supporting business-critical infrastructure within West Coast container terminals is seeking a Network Engineer with a strong wireless networking background to join its team in San Pedro, CA. This is a hands-on role supporting day-to-day network operations as well as ongoing infrastructure projects in a fast-paced port and terminal environment. Wireless networking is the primary technical focus, so we're looking for someone who is comfortable troubleshooting connectivity, access points, controllers, coverage, client behavior, and performance issues. The current wireless environment is primarily Aruba, but candidates with strong Cisco wireless backgrounds are encouraged to apply. We're less concerned with knowing one specific vendor and more interested in engineers who understand wireless fundamentals and can independently diagnose and resolve network issues. This is a great fit for a mid-level Network Engineer who enjoys being hands-on with infrastructure, troubleshooting challenging connectivity problems, and working in an operational environment where network uptime matters.
