Job Description
Overview
We are seeking an Infrastructure Vulnerability Coordinator to support risk remediation efforts across a large-scale technology infrastructure organization. This individual will work across infrastructure, platform, application, and automation engineering teams to drive resolution of technology risk, vulnerability remediation, technical debt reduction, and end-of-life technology initiatives. This role is focused on coordination, governance, oversight, and execution of remediation programs rather than hands-on engineering. The ideal candidate understands infrastructure technologies well enough to engage technical teams, challenge assumptions, identify blockers, and drive remediation plans to completion.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities Coordinate infrastructure vulnerability remediation efforts across multiple technology teams. Track and manage remediation activities for security vulnerabilities, technical debt, software upgrades, hardware refreshes, and end-of-life technology initiatives. Monitor risk management deliverables within Risk Integration Support Environment (RISE) and proactively identify blockers requiring escalation. Drive remediation efforts to ensure vulnerabilities are addressed within established SLAs or approved exception processes. Partner with engineering teams, platform owners, product managers, and governance organizations to establish remediation plans and track execution. Facilitate discussions around infrastructure risk, compliance requirements, and remediation strategies. Review and monitor End-of-Life (EOL) technology commitments, including hardware, software, operating systems, and infrastructure platforms up to 24 months in advance. Coordinate with global teams, including stakeholders in London and New Jersey, to investigate remediation challenges and validate solutions. Analyze remediation trends and recurring issues to identify opportunities for process improvement and risk reduction. Track evidence demonstrating remediation completion for critical platforms and regulatory requirements. Provide executive-level reporting and status updates on vulnerability remediation, EOL tracking, and technology risk initiatives. Ensure governance controls, metrics, and process requirements are followed and sustain long-term remediation success.
