Required Skills & Experience

1+ year of software development experience; relevant certifications or previous work experience may substitute. Experience with fundamental software coding, testing, and debugging processes. Familiarity with enterprise security requirements and version control tools. Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field or equivalent year for year experience. Must have active Top Secret security clearance Must be capable of holding and maintaining a top secret security clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience supporting software within enterprise IT environments. Exposure to A/V or VTC system integrations. Familiarity with automated software deployment tools.

Insight Global is seeking a Junior Software Developer to support a critical government program with the U.S. Department of Justice. This individual will support the development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise software systems, including integrations supporting A/V and VTC environments. The Junior Software Developer will apply foundational programming concepts, assist with troubleshooting software issues, and contribute to secure and reliable technical solutions. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity in Huntsville, AL requiring an active Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

Develop, test, and debug new software and enhancements to existing applications. Assist with integrating software with standard packages and automated deployment tools. Participate in troubleshooting and resolving software issues. Support software systems and integrations within enterprise A/V and VTC environments. Contribute to user documentation and training materials. Follow established coding standards and security protocols.
