Job Description
Define system requirements, architectures, and interfaces for custom electrical and avionics solutions supporting prototype aircraft development. Evaluate, specify, and adapt commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) electrical and avionics products to meet unique aircraft program requirements. Develop innovative software and hardware solutions to solve complex engineering challenges with practical, efficient designs. Design, develop, modify, test, and integrate electrical, avionics, and embedded hardware/software systems throughout the product lifecycle. Create and maintain detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation for aircraft, vehicles, and test equipment. Produce clear and comprehensive engineering documentation to communicate design intent and support future development, maintenance, and certification efforts. Support the planning, execution, and analysis of ground and flight test activities, including troubleshooting and system validation. Own major subsystems and technical deliverables from concept through implementation, verification, and deployment. Provide technical guidance and support to electricians, technicians, and manufacturing personnel during system installation, integration, and testing. Manage multiple engineering projects simultaneously while balancing priorities, schedules, and technical objectives in a fast-paced development environment.
