Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Cloud Governance Observability Analyst for a top enterprise client undergoing a large-scale cloud governance transformation. This candidate will play a key role in establishing observability and reporting capabilities that provide visibility into governance processes, cloud policy adherence, operational performance, and transformation outcomes. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, comfortable working with complex datasets, and experienced in building dashboards and actionable reporting that drive business decisions. Working closely with governance, engineering, and PMO stakeholders, this individual will deliver meaningful insights through metrics, logs, events, and operational data while helping shape the organization's cloud governance reporting framework. Day-to-Day:
- Support the buildout of Cloud Governance observability capabilities
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting solutions
- Analyze governance processes, cycle times, control outcomes, and operational KPIs
- Collect, cleanse, validate, and structure data from multiple sources
- Generate data-driven insights that improve governance visibility and decision-making
- Partner with Cloud Governance, engineering, and PMO teams
- Monitor governance performance and cloud policy adherence metrics
- Create executive and leadership-level reporting materials
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and data visibility
- Support transformation programs with analytics and reporting deliverables
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity across reporting platforms
Skills and Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in data analytics, reporting, observability, or related technical roles
- Hands-on experience working with metrics, logs, and event-based data
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
- Experience building dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using BI/reporting tools
- Experience gathering, cleansing, and structuring data from multiple data sources
- Ability to define, track, and analyze KPIs, throughput metrics, and cycle times
- Strong attention to detail with focus on data accuracy and integrity
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Experience working independently and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environments
- Ability to translate technical findings into business-friendly insights
- Exposure to cloud platforms, infrastructure, or distributed systems
- Familiarity with Cloud Governance processes and control-based frameworks
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools
- Experience building automated reporting solutions or data pipelines
- Experience supporting transformation initiatives or program-level reporting
- Background working with workflow tracking, governance intake processes, or cloud policy adherence reporting
