Responsibilities
- Assist with planning and leading recreational and social activities
- Encourage residents to participate in facility programs and events
- Help prepare activity areas, materials, and supplies
- Provide individual and group activities based on residents’ interests
- Support special events, celebrations, and outings
- Build positive relationships with residents and team members
- Maintain a safe and engaging environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Friendly, outgoing, and compassionate personality
- Reliable and dependable
- Able to multitask and adapt to changing needs
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Previous long-term care experience is helpful but not required
- Must be available to work every other weekend
