Audit Manager
Location: Salt Lake City, UT
Overview
A growth-minded regional CPA and advisory firm is seeking an Audit Manager for its growing Salt Lake City office. You will manage audits, reviews and compilations from planning to completion with a focus on financial services engagements. Hybrid options are available; candidates must be based near Salt Lake City, with some travel between February and April.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of financial services engagements and delegate to staff
- Act as a technical resource for staff and seniors
- Manage service responsibility for clients
- Supervise, train and coach staff and prepare performance reviews
- Identify and explore emerging issues
Qualifications
- 5+ years of recent public accounting experience in financial services
- Solid understanding of audit and attest services, FASB and GAAP
- Bachelor's degree and CPA exam completion or CPA license required
- Strong communication, analytical and research abilities
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
