The George E. Booth Co. is a family-owned and operated industrial automation sales company looking to hire their next full-time Technical Sales Engineer at our Greenwood, IN location.
The ideal candidate will have abilities to interface with customers, to fully develop an understanding of customer needs and maintain open channels of communication with both internal and external partners to ensure all customer needs are met. Position is bound primarily to a standard office desk station with occasional travel to local territory during normal business hours. A clean driving record required. Responsibilities for the TSE:

- TSE assist customers with selection of products based on the scope of project needs through various applications, prepare quotations and follow-up on status.
- TSE will need a comprehensive understanding of technical products that may include but are not limited to concepts of pressure, flow, resistance, etc.
- TSE will troubleshoot situations with customers to analysis and interpret any problems customers may encounter.
- TSE will enter orders into ERP system and Salesforce to help the Technical Sales team, as needed.
- TSE will document quotation and follow-up through Salesforce/ERP system.
- Position will be required to process all orders through GEBCO ERP system.
- TSE will be responsible for day-to-day decisions related to pricing and overall customer care within the company's established parameters.
- Position will coordinate and communicate regularly with outside salesperson to fully develop accounts within designated sales territory.
- Interaction with customers on-site may be required at times.
- All other duties as assigned
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee will mostly be in a standard office setting seated at a desk with a computer and phone workstation. Use of typical office equipment such as, but not limited to printer, scanner, fax machine, keyboard and smart devices.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
- This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 40 hours per week.
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
- Overnight travel is occasionally expected; daily travel throughout business hours is required
