Turn innovative ideas into intelligent business solutions.
Are you passionate about using artificial intelligence to solve real-world business challenges? We’re looking for an AI Solutions Engineer who can bridge the gap between emerging technology and practical business results. In this role, you’ll help shape our AI strategy, identify opportunities for automation and process improvement, and build intelligent solutions that drive efficiency, profitability, and growth.
This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who can think strategically, write code, build functional solutions, and bring innovative ideas to life. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to transform how we operate, make decisions, and serve our customers.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive AI Strategy & Innovation: Develop and execute an AI roadmap aligned with business objectives, operational priorities, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Build Practical AI Solutions: Design, code, develop, test, and deploy AI-powered applications, automation workflows, and internal tools from concept through implementation.
- Turn Ideas Into Results: Rapidly develop proofs of concept (PoCs) to validate ideas, demonstrate feasibility, and identify opportunities to scale successful solutions across the organization.
- Identify Business Opportunities: Partner with executive and operational leaders to uncover opportunities for AI, automation, and advanced analytics to improve efficiency, profitability, customer experience, and decision-making.
- Connect Systems & Data: Integrate AI solutions with existing business platforms, including ERP, CRM, inventory management, financial, field service, and other operational systems.
- Improve Business Performance: Develop solutions that enhance forecasting, quoting, pricing, margin analysis, inventory management, procurement, scheduling, quality, service operations, and administrative processes.
- Measure What Matters: Establish performance metrics and evaluate the operational and financial impact of AI initiatives, communicating results and recommendations to leadership.
- Evaluate Emerging Technologies: Research and assess AI tools, platforms, vendors, and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
- Champion Responsible AI: Establish practical standards for AI development, deployment, security, privacy, reliability, and responsible use in partnership with IT and other stakeholders.
- Lead Adoption & Change: Collaborate across departments to implement solutions, train employees, encourage adoption, and build confidence in AI-enabled tools.
- Deliver Results: Coordinate cross-functional resources and manage AI initiatives to meet project objectives, timelines, budgets, and performance expectations.
What You’ll Bring:
- A hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset with the ability to turn complex business challenges into practical technology solutions.
- Experience developing and deploying AI, machine learning, automation, advanced analytics, or business systems solutions.
- The ability to write code, build working prototypes, and deliver functional tools from concept through deployment - not just recommend technology.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop measurable improvements.
- Experience integrating technology solutions with enterprise systems, databases, APIs, or operational platforms.
- The ability to communicate complex technical concepts in clear, business-friendly language to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Strong project management, organizational, and collaboration skills, including the ability to coordinate initiatives across multiple departments.
- An understanding of data security, privacy, governance, and the risks and limitations associated with AI technologies.
- A continuous-improvement mindset and enthusiasm for experimenting with emerging technologies and finding better ways to work.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 8+ years of progressive experience in technology leadership, product management, digital transformation, or business systems implementation.
- At least 3 years of experience leading or delivering AI, machine learning, advanced analytics, or automation initiatives.
- Experience supporting industrial, manufacturing, distribution, engineering, or service-focused organizations.
- Relevant AI, cloud platform, technology, or project management certifications are a plus.
What We Offer:
- Meaningful Impact: Help shape how AI is used across the organization, with a direct connection between your work and business results.
- Ownership & Autonomy: Take ideas from initial concept to working solution, with the opportunity to influence technology decisions and implementation priorities.
- Strategic Visibility: Partner with executive leadership and business teams to help guide innovation and long-term growth.
- Innovation & Experimentation: Explore emerging technologies, test new ideas, and develop practical solutions to real operational challenges.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with talented professionals across the organization to solve problems and improve how we do business.
- Professional Growth: Expand your expertise in AI, automation, systems integration, and digital transformation as the technology landscape continues to evolve.
