Make sure every barrel and every MCF we produce is measured right, and learn the craft from the ground up.
Why this role matters
Accurate measurement is how production turns into revenue and how we stay compliant. This entry-level role builds that foundation in the field and is the first step on the measurement career path.
The Measurement Technician I supports accurate measurement, monitoring and reporting of oil and gas production volumes. Working under close supervision, you will collect field data, perform routine inspections and help maintain and calibrate flow meters, gauges and flow computers used in production, processing and pipeline operations, while building technical skills toward more advanced measurement roles.

How we work: 100% Awesome Teammates
High-performing, self-directed teams made up of 100% awesome teammates: people who are very good at their jobs and who live our core behaviors every day. Every new hire should raise our ability to reach our goals, so we are ridiculously selective about who joins us.
- Do the Right Thing. Responsible development, honest feedback and doing what we said we would. In this role: Record what the meter actually says, and flag anything that looks off.
- Do it as a Team. No silos. Information moves between teams as freely as it does within one. In this role: Learn from the senior techs and share what you find so the whole measurement team gets better.
- Get Results. Disciplined execution and value creation. We measure ourselves by outcomes. In this role: Clean calibration records and accurate volumes, month after month.
Is this you?
Successful Flywheelers are hungry, humble and people smart.
- Hungry: You are eager to learn every meter type and move up the measurement path.
- Humble: You ask questions early while you are learning under supervision.
- People Smart: You follow instructions well and communicate clearly with field and office teams.
