We are seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to lead our nursing team during weekend shifts and ensure high-quality resident care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned weekend shifts.
- Oversee daily nursing operations and ensure quality, resident-centered care.
- Monitor residents’ conditions and respond promptly to changes in health or medical emergencies.
- Ensure accurate and timely nursing documentation.
- Coordinate resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and support to nursing staff.
- Assist with staffing coordination and daily departmental needs.
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, state and federal regulations, and CMS guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Promote a safe, supportive, and professional environment for residents and staff.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Carolina.
- Current CPR/BLS certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
- Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Long-term care or skilled nursing facility experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational abilities.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Weekend & Shift Differentials
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM: Additional $1.75 per hour weekend differential.
- 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM: Additional $3.00 per hour weekend differential.
- 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM: Additional $3.00 per hour weekend differential.
- Weekday evening/night shifts (3:00 PM – 7:00 AM): Additional $2.00 per hour weekday differential.
