As a PTA, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to implement treatment plans, support residents’ recovery, improve mobility, and enhance overall quality of life. $3,000 Sign-On Bonus for Full-Time Positions!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform physical therapy treatments as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals, and selecting appropriate treatment techniques.
- Establish rapport with residents while maintaining professionalism throughout treatment.
- Record daily treatment and modality information accurately.
- Complete required clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies.
- Assist with chart audits as directed.
- Prepare progress notes as appropriate and review patient progress and goals with the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor resident responses to treatment and communicate concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team and other healthcare professionals to support positive resident outcomes.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state regulations and facility policies.
Job Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Active Massachusetts Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a rehabilitation team.
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality resident care.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
