What You’ll Do
- Provide individual psychotherapy to geriatric patients
- Facilitate group therapy sessions
- Assess, diagnose, and treat conditions including:
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Adjustment disorders
- Cognitive decline and related behavioral concerns
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain timely and compliant clinical documentation
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, social workers, and interdisciplinary care teams
- Partner with nursing home leadership to enhance behavioral health services
Qualifications
Required:
- Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology
- Active New York State Psychologist License
- Ability to provide in-person clinical services
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred:
- Spanish-speaking
- Experience working with older adults
- Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Long-Term Care (LTC), Subacute Rehabilitation, Behavioral Health, or Geriatric Psychology experience
