Duties and Responsibilities: - Embraces and maintains a full-service culture - Manages resources to achieve 100% efficiency, 90% machine uptime, and less than .5% scrap. - Helps the department manage resources to achieve budgetary goals. - Achieves Safety Goal of zero accidents. - Prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies. - Help support building a strong team that is cross-functional across all Departments. - "Leads by example" always maintains a strong professional demeanor and always possesses a "Can do attitude." - Uses sound judgement and accurate data while formulating plans of action. - Performs maintenance on equipment, and buildings/grounds. - Troubleshoots to find root cause. - Maintains the company's assets and keeps equipment in good working condition. - Repairs equipment and machinery while keeping downtime to a minimum. - Works safely and adheres to all safety policies including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, Arc Flash Prevention, Hot Works, PPE, and others. - Assists other technicians to facilitate increased machine uptime. - Coordinates with other key departments to decrease downtime, expedite mold changes, and increase productivity. - Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements: - High School degree required. - Bachelor of Science from a technical program preferred. - Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance experience in manufacturing and injection molding operations. - Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where meeting the customer's needs is the top priority.
