Maintenance Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Embraces and maintains a full-service culture
• Manages resources to achieve 100% efficiency, 90% machine uptime, and less than .5% scrap.
• Helps the department manage resources to achieve budgetary goals.
• Achieves Safety Goal of zero accidents.
• Prepares requisitions for procurement of materials and supplies.
• Help support building a strong team that is cross-functional across all Departments.
• "Leads by example" always maintains a strong professional demeanor and always possesses a "Can do attitude."
• Uses sound judgement and accurate data while formulating plans of action.
• Performs maintenance on equipment, and buildings/grounds.
• Troubleshoots to find root cause.
• Maintains the company's assets and keeps equipment in good working condition.
• Repairs equipment and machinery while keeping downtime to a minimum.
• Works safely and adheres to all safety policies including Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space Entry, Arc Flash Prevention, Hot Works, PPE, and others.
• Assists other technicians to facilitate increased machine uptime.
• Coordinates with other key departments to decrease downtime, expedite mold changes, and increase productivity.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

• High School degree required.
• Bachelor of Science from a technical program preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of Maintenance experience in manufacturing and injection molding operations.
• Experienced in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where meeting the customer's needs is the top priority.
