About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our team in Ashtabula, Ohio. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality respiratory care to our patients. Your expertise will help to improve lung function, alleviate symptoms, and enhance overall patient outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide respiratory therapy services to patients with a variety of diagnoses, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma
- Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans to meet individual needs
- Administer respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, medication administration, and aerosol therapy
- Monitor and maintain respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators
- Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatments and progress
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- 2+ years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
- Current registration with the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Ohio State Respiratory Care Board certification
- Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients as needed
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)

Competitive hourly rate: $38 - $40 hourly
