Facility Cleaner | DeFelsko Corporation DeFelsko Corporation, a leading U.S. manufacturer of hand-held inspection instruments, is seeking a full-time Facility Cleaner to join our on-site team in Ogdensburg, New York. This position is primarily responsible for general cleaning and housekeeping duties and also provides part-time support in our production area, assisting with component preparation and assembly. Key Responsibilities Clean and maintain assigned areas throughout the facility. Clean and disinfect restrooms, break areas, kitchen, and appliances. Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors and dust common areas. Replenish restroom, kitchen, and break room supplies. Prepare coffee in the main break room each day. Collect and properly dispose of trash and recycling. Set up and clean up for company events, meetings, and luncheons. Perform seasonal outdoor maintenance, including weeding, watering planters, and keeping emergency exits clear of snow as needed. Safely handle and mix cleaning products according to manufacturer instructions. Follow all safety procedures and use required PPE. Provide part-time support in production by completing assigned component preparation and assembly tasks and recording work performed. Maintain reliable and punctual attendance. Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Reliable and dependable work habits. Strong attention to detail. Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals and manufacturing equipment. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Willingness to perform both cleaning and light manufacturing-support duties. Ability to walk, stand, bend, reach, and perform other physical activities associated with cleaning. Ability to occasionally lift and carry supplies or materials weighing up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform seated manufacturing-support work involving repetitive hand and wrist movements, hand assembly, and occasional soldering.
