# Cleaning & Packaging Shift Technician Employer: Corning Incorporated Location: Hemlock, Michigan Salary: $58,934 - $81,034 annually Schedule: Rotating 2-3-2 schedule, alternating between days and nights every two weeks. ### Position Summary Corning is seeking a Cleaning & Packaging Shift Technician to provide technical support for manufacturing equipment and processes at its Hemlock facility. ### Responsibilities - Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and process issues. - Monitor equipment performance and production efficiency. - Support maintenance, engineering, and production teams. - Analyze equipment downtime and identify improvements. - Assist with process optimization and continuous improvement. - Maintain safety and quality standards. - Monitor production performance indicators. ### Qualifications - Minimum two years of manufacturing experience supporting and troubleshooting process equipment. - Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. - Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatic controls, and manufacturing equipment. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. - Ability to work rotating shifts. - Effective communication and teamwork skills.
